Horsemanship

Lynn's Philosophy on

Horsemanship is not about making the horse comply, but about creating the conditions for him to choose cooperation - because he understands the request and is able to fulfill it.

“Ask with clarity, allow with
patience, reward with grace.”

Inspired by Francois Baucher’s principle - to ask and let the horse do - this philosophy begins with relation of the horse mind, creating a foundation for tru work.  Suppleness and acceptance in the body awakened hidden strength, allowing every movement to flow with balance, power, and ease.

With the relationship between horse and rider, we learn that only kindness, clarity, and mutual understanding can bring about the highest perfection.  The patient rider does not force but invites the horse to listen, to discover its own harmony, and to move both with freedom and purpose.  This is the timeless gift of the horse: a partnership built on respect, trust, and the pursuit of art in motion.

“In kindness and clarity lies perfection and trust, the horse gives the gift of harmony."
